AUTHORITY AND POWER
SCRIPTURE:
Luke 10:19 ESV
19. Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you.
Acts 1:8 ESV
8. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.
WISDOM:
My Son Pastor Nicholas L Fox Sr made the statement, "Authority is the rank to do something, Power gives you the ability to carry it out." I pondered on that for a while, and I believe that Yahweh gives us authority through His son Yeshua. Through Him we are saved but power comes when we receive the Holy Spirit to show us how and what to do with the authority.
Salvation = Authority
Holy Spirit = Power
