"WHAT FRUIT ARE YOU PRODUCING?"
SCRIPTURE
MATTHEW 7:15-20
15. “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.
16. You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?
17. So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit.
18. A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit.
19. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
20. Thus you will recognize them by their fruits.
GALATIANS 5:22-23
22. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23. gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

WISDOM
Today, I am concerned about our fruit. In Hebrew, the word parah is fruit, meaning to make fruitful. to show fruitfulness, bear fruit. In Matthew, we have a warning about false prophets and how to recognize them by their fruits, but as children of Yahweh filled with His Holy Spirit we should produce one kind of fruit as brought out in Galatians 5:22. How else can you identify a tree but by the fruit it bears? Jesus said I am the vine and you are the branches. So, I will go out on a limb here and mention that the fruit you bear is also dependent upon the ground you are planted on and how deep your roots are connected to a good and rich source of nutrients. But a false prophet produce many kinds of fruits, bad fruits. So, ask yourself... what kind of fruit am I bearing? Is it good or bad, healthy or diseased, am I connected to a good source and deeply rooted or am I surface rooted able to be plucked up by the next storm? This week's wisdom is about taking inventory of your life and assuring you are deeply rooted in the Word of Yahweh able to walk in the Fruit of the Spirit mentioned in Galatians and that you are bearing good fruit so that you are not cut down and thrown into the fire.
